Winfree Baptist Church

Project Profile

The 23,000 SF addition included a 600 seat multi-use room, a large pre-function assembly space, 4,700 square feet of office space, a commercial kitchen, and storage. The multi-use room was designed to accommodate contemporary worship, banquets, recreational activities, and concerts. A sophisticated audio/visual system was installed to accommodate a wide variety of activities. The project also involves renovation of the existing building to incorporate new classrooms, a youth area, and a café. The design is representative of the contemporary function of the new building while still fitting with the materials, scale, and proportion of the original church.
